It was lunch time on an average Saturday. Norman had just fallen asleep, and Norman had just gotten off his sofa to make a sandwich. He looked inside his refrigerator and, to his dismay, he discovered he was out of cheese! Norman couldn't bear the thought of having a sandwich without cheese, so he sat down, contemplating what to do.
Suddenly, a breeze blew through the open window in Norman's kitchen and it blew a take-out menu off a table. It was from a burger restaurant down the street. Norman took this as a sign that he should order a burger, even though he had never done that before.
He looked through the menu, and decided to order the Number Two: a regular cheeseburger. Norman glanced over at Norman, making sure he was still asleep. He made the call. When the man on the other side of the telephone asked him if he wanted anything on his burger, Norman hesitated, but eventually replied with "no, thanks."
Norman almost ordered bacon on his burger.
Almost.
