I know there are lots of rules about importing vehicles into Chile. It appears that there are exceptions for specialty vehicles, but its not clear if a campervan would qualify.
My vehicle has a toilet, bed, refrigerator, and sink so its closer to an RV than regular van.
My goal is to ship a campervan to Chile, and legally register it as a foreigner.
I may visit the Chilean embassy to see if they can help.
Otherwise - does anyone have any suggestions in regards to shipment from SF bay area or Chilean registration?
