My fiance and I are moving from Vegas to LA in about 2 - 3 weeks. I have a job already lined up. We have a car. We don't smoke at all and rarely drink. I'm looking at Mar Vista, Culver City, Palms, West LA, Sawtell, and any of the other spots close to Santa Monica, as well as Santa Monica itself.
We definitely want a designated parking spot, as well as a refrigerator and range.
