Fridge Overload Relay Help appliancerepair

Fridge recently stopped cooling. Removed starter and overload relay. Tested compressor for continuity; it checked out fine. Overload relay rattled when I shook it. So, I ordered a new one (LG Electronics 6750C-0005P Refrigerator Overload). New overload arrived. New one rattles when I shake it. I decided to see if would work anyway. It does; fridge is cooling again. Question: even though the new overload relay seems to be working, should I send it back to get a replacement since rattles when it is shaken, or since it works in spite of that, should I keep it? Does the rattling now indicate a short life of use? New to all this; any insight/advice appreciated. Thanks.

LPT: Clean the coils on your fridge at least yearly. It will save you potentialy hundreds of dollars annually through better efficiency. LifeProTips

Not only that, it will also protect your fridge from burning out your compressor. Refrigerator repairman hate this one neat trick!

Dometic RM2804 Operation Help Please GoRVing

I need some help with the operation of a Dometic RM2804 refrigerator in our newly acquired '92 Pace arrow. We've only had it a few weeks and I'm confusing myself.

I understand that when I'm on shore power, the fridge is operating off of 110VAC. It gets plenty cold. I have not been able to run it for any length of time on propane, due to a leak in the propane system I am having trouble tracking down, BUT I know it works on propane.

My question is regarding 12V operation. When I'm driving, I know it isn't running on 110VAC. When I start the engine and drive, is it running on 12VDC? I know when I stop, it should switch over to propane automatically (if I didn't have a leak), or to shore power.

Do I have that right? Is there anything I have to do to make it switch from 110VAC to 12VDC while driving? Or, is it even operating on 12VDC, and I have mis-remembered something?

What edibles can be stored at room temperature? trees

I want to make some edibles, but because I live with others I don't want to store them in our refrigerator or freezer! What edibles would last for AT LEAST one month, preferably longer, at room temperature?
