Has anyone ever had a very terrifying, vivid nightmare that scared you for years? CasualConversation

I had one that haunted me when I was like 13 or so but I remember in my dream, I was hanging out on my back porch with my family at night, for literally no reason. We didn't talk to each other and we were just kind of chilling and all of a sudden, I see these floating spheres in the sky making different colors and they were chasing each other around in a circle. Then these spheres got extremely close to us, like inches away from our faces, they were small, chrome balls. They were floating all around us and made this sort of like wormhole in the air and sucked up things. After that they disappeared. Next thing you know, I go out in the front and I see a giant floating house with these large eyes and it had this mouth as well. I ran in the street and it was just chasing after me. It shot out these weird rays of light. And I ran to an empty hospital, I ran to this room that had a refrigerator, in it were strawberries and pumpkin pie, I know that is so random but I remember I did that in my dream. Anyways, I ate those and ran back out and ran to this unknown house and tried to call someone on the phone, and then I had this crazy flashback while on the house phone about a relative who seemed to have turned into a cyborg, and said something like "This is who I am now" and had this sort of blank face and started swimming in this large pool. I then see a random dude I never met before tell me that one of my family members is dead, and then they suddenly vanished, I ran back outside and saw the house very close to me, ready to emit this mysterious light at me and that was the end of it. I woke up with my heart beating very fast on my bed at like 3 am and my mom was asleep. I was relieved to know that was just a nightmare. This all may not seem like a typical nightmare or something that's scary to people but keep in mind I was 13, so that was very scary to me at the time. This all seems very random but is legit. Anyone else have a terrifying nightmare that scared them for years?
