I have a refrigerator that is always plugged into its own outlet that is on a 120v circuit breaker. The refrigerator says it runs at 115vs. I want to plug it into a new surge protector at the same outlet that I bought that has multiple outlets so I can run my computer and monitor on it as well. Is the worst thing that will happen is it will trip the circuit if it almost overloads? Would there be any long term problems with the wires from to much current?
