Portable fridge with marine battery/inverter combo not operating as expected electricians

Hi electricians of Reddit I'm hoping this is a two second answer.

The small fridge we bought (online..) says it's 2.0A on the unit itself I think, but 1.1A on the spec sheet here. http://ift.tt/2h0dXze

The inverter is supposedly rated to 1600W startup and 800W sustained. http://ift.tt/2hfFjOc

The battery is a deep cycle AGM Exide. http://ift.tt/2h08Ij7

From what I understand, the fridge should only need 220W to run. Startup might be around 1000W?

The fridge runs fine on the mains. The weird thing is, the fridge starts up fine on battery, but seems like it won't keep running after. That's the reverse of what I'd expect, and I did upgrade from an 800w peak inverter as it wouldn't start on that.

The added complication is that it's being moved right before I need to run it (at a farmer's market). It's not being moved on its back (anymore.. it was) and it's always started up fine on main power again, so I don't think there's much chance lasting damage was done at any point.

So, if it's something else, let me know, but it seems like it's one of the following:

1)the fridge is lying and it's significantly more than a 2A draw, so 800W isn't cutting it 2)the fridge is getting disturbed and needs a long time before plugging in after moving (we are waiting an Joe or so after half an hour of travel and a small amount of lifting) 3)the stats on the inverter are BS. 4)???
