A while ago I picked up a free stainless side-by-side fridge for my shop. Only problem was the condenser fan was shot. Got it back, and all was well! Until now. The motor is fine, but won't receive power for the fan to run. It's an expensive board, and if rather not dump money into it, and instead of putting a fan behind it, I had an idea. Is there any problem to wire the fan to just always stay on? At least a week or so until I can figure out how to make it run with the compressor? I'm not concerned with extra power consumption, as that's nothing compared to my other 3-phase equipment.
