We are planning our kitchen, and originally I was going to go with consumer level pro-line appliances, like GE or Frigidaire. However the Thermador 1-2-free program that they have is very attractive. It will give us the chef's kitchen we want at a much lower budget than Wolf or other professional appliances would offer.
We also really like how the Thermador refrigerator is fully flush with the cabinets vs a counter depth consumer refrigerator. I don't care for self-cleaning functions or timers on my oven, so the bells and whistles that come with a consumer level range isn't that important to me. I also don't care too much for the water dispenser in the refrigerator, because I can always install a purified water tap next to my sink. I just want to know how reliable or how good are the Thermador products?
