Fuck a duck offmychest

We purchased some ducks for eggs and meat. I butcher a duck, everyone seems semi anticipating. I do a seasoned dry rub and put it on a rack and smoke it in the oven for 18 hours. It smells fantastic and the breast meat is like a deep rich rare porterhouse. So tender, so juicy. I had to bribe everyone to even try a bite and they all turn up their noses just because of their unfamiliarity with eating it. So I eat my fill and the rest is so close to ruined, sitting in the refrigerator. Reheating it will not be the same... as I eat all alone in anticipation of killing another duck.
