Would marinating chicken in mirin or cooking wine allow it to last a few days longer in the refrigerator? food

I'm trying to buy my chicken in as bulk as possible, and I want to freeze the least amount of chicken I can. If alcohol kills bacteria, could I get away with storing my chicken for an extra few days by letting it marinate in mirin/cooking wine?
