I apologize if this isn't appropriate to post; I did read the rules but was still not sure if this kind of post is okay.
Anyway, I have a question about chicken. Yesterday I bought skinless chicken breast from the grocery store. The package was refrigerated, not frozen. I then ate one of them and put the opened, original pack in the freezer. Today, I took it out and the chicken breasts are completely frozen. Can I just defrost it in the refrigerator for a few hours and then prepare them? Is that safe?
Thanks a lot, I'd hate to throw them away but I don't want to take any risks.
