I have a GE fridge which had been running constantly and the side was hot. I pulled out the fridge and saw that the fan wasn't running. My fan has four wires, but only 3 from the fridge. Red connects to red, pink (fridge) to yellow, and white to white. Blue is not connected to anything.
Red puts out ~13V DC whether the condenser is on or not, and pink/yellow puts out 2-4 when the condenser is running and 0.2 when its off. I bought a new fan from Sears and plugged it in, but still no worky. Was i shipped a dud or am I missing something?
Is there any way I can find out for sure if its the fan or the mobo which is causing the issue?
