Chase Sapphire screw me over $1000+ personalfinance

This is going to be long so bare with me. I need some advice on how to approach this. So on July 9th, 2015 I've purchased 3 appliances through homedepot.com (a refrigerator, dish washer, and gas range)

totalling to $4599.97 after promo and discount. There were a bunch of other little things I purchased on the same order and everything else got processed and deliver. I charged it on my Chase Sapphire credit card and was expecting delivery by July 16th. Please note that the promotion for the appliances end on July 15th. So July 16th came around there's no delivery and no charges were made on my Sapphire card. Decided to call in to my credit card and ask what's going on. When I reach a representative and explain my concern they put me on a brief hold came back on the line and told me they detected something odd will call me back by 8 p.m. that day. Never received a call back and notice that as soon as we hung up I received a text and a email confirming the purchase. I confirm on both text and email that I made the purchased but it was too late for the transaction to go through. I called back the next day to complain about why they declined my order without confirming with me immediately at the time of purchased. I was able to continue to use my Sapphire card daily so I never suspected that my order was declined. The representative told me the order was declined because they thought it was a fraudulent charge since there were so many home depot purchased within the past few weeks /months. I told them I'm going through a home renovation and I have paid every single statement prior to this purchased. They pretty much said there's nothing they can do. Not satisfied with the response I went to a Chase bank and ask how can Chase screw over a customer like that. The teller didn't know how to respond to my situation and called the credit card company instead. The representative over the phone just keep giving me excuses and pushing the blame on me. Saying that it was probably because I didn't set up my alerts that's why I never received a email or text. Funny thing is I never changed my alert settings but they send me both an email and text immediately after my call on July 16th. If I were to buy the same 3 appliances now it would cost me anywhere from $1000-$1800 more since the price fluctuate weekly. Why is it okay for company like Chase to screw us over and charge us fee for our mistakes of things like late payment but they don't take any responsibility for their mistake. If they had put my card on hold or send me a email on July 9th I would know to call in immediately. So my question is this, should I write to BBB and complain about their company? What are my choices? I don't want them to get away with this and nothing happens to them.

Tl;dr: Chase Sapphire declined a promotional purchase of mine without confirming with me and now it will cost me $1000-$1800 more for the same items.
