Role Summary/Purpose

Our software application is a transaction-based ERP solution that integrates with Microsoft Dynamics GP. It is built on an extensive, web-based platform that includes over 200 pages within more than 10 modules. Most of what we do focuses on expanding the supported features within our application, but we also provide customer-specific functionality and reports as requested by our customers, as well as customizations within Microsoft Dynamics GP.

You will be teamed with developers, project managers, and analysts on various projects. You will be working on our NorthScope application as well as other customer projects. We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of developer experience that understands the complexity associated with coding on large transactions-based applications.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Web Development that includes working within Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server to develop features for our application using C#, JavaScript and TSQL
• Troubleshoot issues with large quantities of data and complex transactions
• Assist with authoring new reports and making changes or troubleshooting existing reports created on a variety of platforms but mainly SQL Server Reporting Services
• Work with the testing and development team to quickly solve and deploy bug fixes both as part of normal releases and directly to customers

Required Experience & Knowledge

• 2-4 years of experience as a developer
• AA or BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education plus 2 to 4 years of experience in application development
• Expertise with the Visual Studio environment, C# and ASP.Net
• Expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS and SQL Server Reporting Services
• Demonstrated, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take direction and work independently
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated effectiveness working in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience with transactional business software (QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics GP, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience using or developing business applications is a plus
