Need Help planning, prepping, and packing lunches Cooking

Hi /r/cooking,

I need help with lunches. For years I've been really lax about bringing my own lunch to work and now I'm at a point where I need to make a change.

If I eat at the cafe at my work I usually spend $5-10 for a meal (usually something pretty substantial with sides and a drink). I'm trying to cut back costs so I want to take lunch a lot more often.

The issues I face are mainly lack of ideas and time. I get sick of things if I eat them a lot so I'm also looking for variety.

Right now my main ideas are:

  • Sandwiches, usually with a side of baby carrots or grapes.
  • Taco Salads, easy to do when we make tacos for dinner

... that is about all I know. I'd love to have some suggestions of things I can make for dinner that reheat well so I can just take left overs.

I have quite a few ways to reheat/store items, specifically I have access to microwaves, toaster ovens, refrigerators, and freezers at my office.

Any tips on things that I can make that store and reheat pretty well?
