Hey I have a question about chicken safety! AskCulinary


So, I need to start taking my lunches with me a few days a week. I was thinking of cooking up my favorite meal, chicken and rice, and throwing it in a Tupperware container the night before.


The question I have is will my chicken be safe to eat the next day at lunch?


It would be in my refrigerator until morning, where it would then stay in my bag for maybe 4 hours at most until I could microwave it.


I now chicken can be kind of iffy and I really don't want to get sick. Please help!
