Anyone else deal with this? sysadmin


Text from the email is below. First off, I don't understand why they even hold the meetings in our corporate office if it's not a fitting environment for such events. Secondly, why are they shielded from seeing the lowly employees that keep this company running from day to day? This kind of thing just infuriates me.


The main reason they do this is that we have Starbucks instant coffee machines that make noise when brewing, and they're on a shared wall with the training room (where the meeting will be held). God forbid they have to hear a coffee machine run.



On Monday, 2/2, and Tuesday, 2/3, we will be hosting the Board of Directors meeting in the 3rd Floor Training Room. In order to keep disruptions to a minimum, the kitchen and break room will close Monday, 2/2 at 1:00 pm and will remain closed until end of business on Tuesday, 2/3. There will be access to the beverage cooler and back refrigerator. We will relocate a microwave to the empty office adjacent to the 1st Floor North Meeting Room and provide coffee carafe stations on all levels on Tuesday, 2/3. As a reminder, please ensure your work area is tidy before departing on Friday, January 30.
