My first day trying AVB vaporents

This weekend my Pax 2 arrived and i wondered what to do about the already vaped bud. I just so happen to see a post and i do more looking. It interest me so i decide to save up my AVB. I must save up around...2 gs max i thinking. So today, Monday, i decided to try out AVB. I work a typical Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm job in an office setting crunching number. Easy/lazy person job. So i said hmmmm today would be a good day to try AVB because its Monday and folks are still recovering from the weekend and wont notice me. I should also like to mention i think i have a petty good high tolerance, been smoking since 18 now 29, did dabbing for awhile, went to Colorado had their edibles, and etc...i like weed pretty much in any form, shape, or fashion. But yea this morning i decided to make a peanut butter sandwich with AVB. http://ift.tt/2tl7OUv (That whole cap was full of AVB)

I also ate a bowl of oatmeal and drank a glass of milk (didnt want to do it an open stomach, learned a long time ago not to do ANYTHING on a empty stomach). Packed my sandwich, hopped in the car (brought my Pax 2 along) and took a cool a small puffs on level 2 nothing major. Felt okay. Got to work and decided to eat the sandwich around 8:30ish. This sandwich...this peanut butter sandwich was crunchy. Im talking about i had to play mind games and tell myself it was the crunchy peanut butter i was using when it was really the smooth kind. Took a bite here and there and pretty much ate it like a normal sandwich (in 10-15 minutes). I started to fill that shit within a 30-45 minutes. Realized i was making mistakes, misplacing numbers, wrong emails, forgetting notes, and spelling/grammar (as im typing this my spelling and grammer is still off so fyi). 10 o'clock came and i took a break and smoke a cigar to cool my nerves. It worked for a little bit, then that high kicked in and i got super lazy. Was listening to Spofity and i couldnt even listen to music to focus on my work. I found myself getting to lost in the music. So boom turned that off, guess ill listen to my coworkers conversations, which were pretty entertaining for a high guy. Decided to take lunch at 1240, got back 140, started on my work more focused and next thing i know it 330. When 330 hits thats pretty much a wrap for me for the day lol. Today has been nothing but a blur. I havent even smoked or anything since ive been home and its 10:20pm. Im just now becoming sober...somewhat. And fuck i just remembered i left my chicken bacon subway sandwich in the refrigerator.

I wish i would have saved that experience for home cause that was a first and nothing beat a first time but noooo i had to try it at work. But shit, now i know and knowing is half the battle. I cant wait to save up some more AVB!

Thanks for reading. I would fix my mistakes but im the lazy stoner.

[MMJ] Help me pick my next vape please. Details inside. vaporents

I'm a MMJ patient (Crohn's) and have been trying different types of absorption (tinctures, oils, some edibles) but what has given me consistent relief is vaping.

I have an Arizer Extreme Q and S&B Mighty that I alternate use of.

I find the Extreme Q only satisfactory and not very efficient with low doses. The stock balloons take tape to keep from leaking and 'elbow' packing even with a good pre-heat on all the glass doesn't transform the quality as some would say.

The Mighty is excellent (I have no point of reference), but I find it's maintenance tedious. I keep the device as clean as I can because I feel that's how it functions best (am I wrong? is an oily, gunked up vape less potent?)

I'm looking for two vapes to replace them.

  • A strong desktop mod that will produce the most potent/efficient extraction (waste not, want not - I save my avb). Portability isn't a concern unless it's the size of a refrigerator.

  • An upgrade to the Mighty (stronger, as portable, possibly easier to clean).

Thank you for your time and consideration!

Combusted in my vapcap... Now what? vaporents

I'm still learning my Ti Woody XLS.

I thought I heard the cool-down click... In sudden retrospect it could have been the refrigerator or a cat or something, so I stopped the current heat cycle just in case and took a draw to see if it was still in the last cycle. It was...

It was interesting, the ash flavor I never noticed from my pre-vape days... Also I think I like the smoking high for my bedtime indica...

Anyway, do I have to clean my condenser/chamber? Is it possible I broke the calibration of the tip, or as long as it does the cool-down click, it's good? It did do the cool-down click...

Thanks!

Question about ABV coconut oil recipes vaporents

I've got a good amount of ABV weed and am gearing up to use it in a coconut oil recipe. Some of the recipes I'm looking at look good but are aimed at weed that hasn't been vaped yet. I'm curious about two aspects of the preparation:

  • some recipes strain the concoction through mesh and cheesecloth; some grind the ABV to a flour and don't strain.

  • some recipes that use a slow cooker combine water and oil and then dump the water after separation in the refrigerator; others use only oil.

Pros and cons of these two preparation methods, specifically for ABV material? One assumption I'm making is that for ABV a slow cooker is a less useful method as the weed has already been heated.

I want a desktop vape - Extreme Q or a log? And other rambling... vaporents

Let me just start off by saying that this sub has facilitated what looks to be a long term change in the way I consume cannabis.

I picked up an Arizer Air about a month ago and have been using it exclusively (except in some social settings). Also got a planetvape GonG and got a new 14mm downstem for my bong - this has seriously changed my life.

The Pinnacle pro glass smoking water pipe VaporBLUNT Vaporizer Glass Vapor Genie arrived the other day, and it's really great if I just want to sit on the couch and not mess with the bong. I keep both water pipes in the refrigerator for the extra cooling factor.

I want to add a desktop vape to the fam, and I've narrowed it down to the Extreme Q or a log. I like the versatility of the EQ, but I know everyone will say a log will give me better vapor quality. For the EQ, I like that I can use bags or a whip, the temperature control, the ease of use, and the price. I like that log styles produce great vapor, but other than that, I don't really see the appeal. It looks to be more of a pain to get things just right.

You fine vaporents haven't lead me wrong so far, so I trust your judgment. Is the log vapor really that much more dank? Does log roll down stairs, alone or in pairs rolls, and over your neighbor's dog?

First Time Making CocoCannaOil, a few questions.... vaporents

First off, I apologize as I see these posts around all the time and always think, jesus, can't people look around or search, but really its much easier to just ask my specific questions so I hope this isn't too much of a bother :)

I've never made this before, but I am fairly certain I have a method that should work, I just wanted to run through it for everyone.

  • I have 28 grams of AVB. It's not charcoal black, its not super dark, overrall its a nice mixed consistency. Some pieces are real dark, some pretty light, overrall a nice light brown/green mix whenever I grind it up to fluff.

  • I have Unrefined Virgin Coconut Oil. I also have a big mason jar. My plan is to put the fluff in the mason jar. I will fill a pot with water on the stove, and put a rag in the pot on the bottom to help protect the mason jar. I will melt down some Coconut Oil, just enough to cover all of my AVB, I don't really want any excess.

  • Then I will put this jar, in the pot of water (very warm water, but not boiling), and stirring it every 15 minutes, let it cook for the better part of an afternoon (6-8 hours). IMPORTANT QUESTION: Can I leave the lid on the jar while cooking? I was planning on it, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

  • I have some square ziploc storage containers, I was going to wrap a cheesecloth over the top of the mason jar, and then pour the oil into this container. Then I was going to squeeze out any excess oil from the plant matter into this container, using like gloves or sandwich bags or something to keep my hands clean.

  • I will let this sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Another question, but could I freeze this to make it cool faster? I saw a lot of recipes said fridge, but they also seemed to be mixing water with their oil and then they don't want that water to freeze, so the fridge makes sense. Since I won't have that excess water in my mixture, would the freezer cause issues with it just being oil?

  • Regardless, once this mixture solidifies, I was going to take a knife and segment the square of oil out into 4 columns, 7 rows, essentially 28 pieces, so I had some form of dosage. My plan was to use it mostly in coffee, and maybe make something simple like mac and cheese, so I figured this would be an easy way to eyeball out dosage.

Any help and advice would be appreciated frients :)
