Where I should put my mod while at work. electronic_cigarette

Where I work I park my car in a spot that has little shade, and recently the days have been in the upper 80s and 90s. I know not to leave my mod and juice in this heat but the only spot I could think to put it was in my lunch box which sits in the refrigerator all day (about 8 hours). Is this a bad idea to leave my mod there for so long?

Some more information: I work in a lumber mill so I can't carry it on me because it has a higher risk of breaking. Also the place doesn't have AC so it's just as hot inside as outside. There is no real place to leave it where it won't get sawdust in it. I have been putting it in a plastic bag wrapped in a paper towel recently

Slowing the steeping process? electronic_cigarette

I know I may be a bit of a pariah, but are there any tips on slowing the steeping process? Some flavors are very good after aging, but I have a couple of flavors that seem to lose their lightness after some time, namely a light lime, pear, and cream that was WONDERFUL while the bottle was fresh, but after about three weeks some of the brightness started fading. It wasn't bad by any means, but I kind of miss that refreshing deliciousness it had when it was fresh. So, my question is this: Can I do anything to preserve a juice's "newness"? I considered putting a fresh bottle in the refrigerator, but will that actually accomplish anything, or could it even make it age faster? Sorry for the lengthy question, I tried the search function, and it didn't turn up much, but I am still fairly new to reddit, so it's entirely possible that I just don't know exactly what to search for. Just for reference, the juice is Fontana by Artifact Vapor, 6mg nicotine - by far my favorite juice!!! Thank you in advance, and I wish everyone here at ECR Merry Christmas!

Hello everyone! This is my first juice review, so be gentle plz. I hope you guys enjoy it!

Level Up Vapors review Rating scale will be 1 – 10 Vaping on a Twisted Messes on an RX 200 at 115 watts with Parallel coils

Sticky Bombs – Starts off with a light fluffy blue cotton candy breeze but then the sweet tangy blue raspberry flavor hits your mouth like a truck. Even though I’m usually not a fan of blue raspberry flavors (they either overpower all the other flavors in a juice or they taste too chemically), this one doesn’t strike me as too abrasive and I’ve been vaping it because it came in a unicorn bottle instead of a glass dripper like the other ones I got. It’s quite a nice vape.

Rating: 8/10

60 FPS – This one’s an odd flavor because when I first tried this juice, it was in my crown tank (I wanted my smaller mod as I was doing some yard work) and I was vaping it at 50 watts. At 50 watts the juice has a super strong raspberry flavor, to the point of tasting strictly as an almost raspberry jam flavor. But when I popped this in my MXV4 the true flavor of this juice exploded. The raspberry still comes through as very strong and in your face, but you can taste small notes of a light sugar sprinkle and little hints of a milky cream in the back. Definitely something that I will be dropping more of.

The cake is a lie – Yes. I almost think that is the point of this juice. It is a lie. I can’t stand this juice. The flavor is supposed to be a light fluffy waffle with vanilla ice cream and candy apple on top, but unfortunately this juice tastes nothing like this. I went in expecting a light sweet flavor with lots of vanilla and apple and an underlying bakery waffle flavor, but instead, you are instantly greeted by the overwhelming flavor of a cinnamon waffle kicking your teeth in, and that’s about it. The first time I tried this juice, I was driving to work and had to pull over because I was so shocked with how terribly abrasive the flavor was to my mouth. I got no sweet vanilla ice cream, not delicious sweet candy apple, just pure waffle and cinnamon attacking my mouth. I went ahead and passed it on to another one of my friends Yuck!

Dual-Wield – This flavor is spot on. No joke. When Level up vapors says strawberry lemon and lime, they mean it. When you first inhale you get a wonderful refreshing flavor that will take you back to your childhood, and reminded me of a nice sweet Popsicle. When you exhale, the lemon and lime shine through with a nice strong flavor that makes your mouth slightly pucker and a sweet soothing strawberry to dance on your taste buds. Of course the citrus leaves a light tingle in your throat and on your tongue because it’s a citrus flavor, but I’m alright with that. Vaping this after work left me feeling light and refreshed.

Rating 8/10

Legendary – When I took a hit of this juice, I had flashbacks back to my early days of vaping. The young kriss554 puffing small clouds on his little Kanger Mini Subox with his 10ml juices from Vapewild.com. This made me remember Vapewild’s (S + C)2, their super sweet and creamy strawberries and cream flavor. This juice’s custard has the same exact flavor of the cream from that juice. That’s not a bad thing, as (S + C)2 used to me my second favorite juice only aside to their Long Beach Crush flavor. Now I love this juice. The way the custard melds to the delicious sticky blackberry and raspberry is an unexpected ride. I want to thank this juice for taking my taste buds through a ride on memory lane and making me remember my roots.

God (a la) Mode – This juice is reminiscent of The Cake is a Lie, but without any of the nastiness that I tasted it. The delicious pear in this has the chance to flourish with its tangy juices and the ice cream is able to let its creamy sweetness coat your mouth. This juice is definitely going to be used completely.

NPC – God I love this juice. I wasn’t expecting much out of this juice to be honest. I figured it would just be another boring blend of two fruits to taste super generic. I want to slap myself. This juice made me so happy. You get hit upfront with the sweetest summer watermelon that you have ever had. Take that sweet delicious middle part of the watermelon, put it in the refrigerator, and then eat it outside on the porch on a warm summer day while enjoying the sunset and that is what the watermelon part of this is like. But in the last second of the exhale you can catch that tart white peach right behind it bringing its own sweetness with a light tartness that will have you craving more with each vape. This juice showed me that not all fruit juice flavors are going to be generic and boring.

Rating 9/10

Filthy Casual – This juice was eh. Take God (a la) Mode and remove the ice cream. This juice was kind boring. Don’t get me wrong, the pear is absolutely delicious, but I didn’t feel that it really brought anything new to the table. I didn’t get the hints of honeysuckle and coconut that you are supposed to get, but it might be different for you. I really do enjoy this juice, and I will use it all, as I like this juice, it just feels too similar to God (a la) Mode minus the vanilla sweet cream hints.

Rating 6/10

Raid Boss – God damn do I love this juice. Crème Brulee bringing the strong vanilla sugar game with it and making everything all warm and custardy. This juice is so creamy and sweet and you can actually taste the warm crusty caramel sugar top surprisingly, I also can taste just the slightest bit of coffee on the end of the exhale, this isn’t a bad thing, and is barely noticeable. It feels like you are inhaling a 5 star chef’s main dessert plate and you just can’t get enough. If you are thinking “oh this is just another custard vanilla juice, I’ll pass” don’t you dare. This juice isn’t you classic “vanilla custard” flavor. This is the real deal when they say Crème Brulee.

Overall – I love these juices. I love the video game theme and everything they bring to the table. They may be a bit rough on the throat, but the flavor they give is unexpected and amazing. They bring flavors to the table that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves you thinking “Hmm what today? Watermelon and peach, or sugar sprinkles raspberries and cream?” If you can order these juices, do definitely. They are definitely worth picking up. I would even say they are an essential to any vaper and gamers juice collection

How can we extend the life of our batteries? electronic_cigarette

There are several things you can do to help your Li-Ion batteries last as long as possible before needing to replace them. Some are easy, some are quite inconvenient. Some have a big effect, some very little. But doing any of them can help slow down the aging and degradation of your batteries.

Temperature

• Don't overheat them. High temperatures are the biggest cause of battery damage and reduced battery life. Anything over about 45°C/113°F, what most would call warm, and your batteries start aging faster. The more time they spend being warm or hot, and the hotter they get, the more damage you're causing.

• Don't use them when they're very cold, below -20°C/-4°F. The chemical reactions in a battery are a lot less efficient at low temperatures leading to poor performance. The sudden heating of the battery if used when cold can cause localized internal heating, possibly damaging the battery.

Discharging

• Don't overdischarge them. Our batteries are rated down to 2.5V or lower but you can extend their life by staying above 2.8V-3.0V^1. Going below 2.0V or so leads to metal being plated inside different parts of the battery, eventually causing an internal short circuit and possible bursting of the battery.

• If you accidentally overdischarge your battery below 2.0V immediately recharge it at the slowest rate your charger supports. Once the battery rises up over 3.0V or so you can switch to your normal charge rate.

• If the battery has been at 2.0V for a while then it's probably damaged. It's not worth trying to use the "recovery" mode of your charger (if it has it) because the damage can lead to an internal short circuit later.

• Li-Ion batteries do not need to be discharged occasionally all the way down in order to keep them in top condition. Li-Ion batteries do not suffer from "memory". This is only needed for NiCd (nickel-cadmium) or NiMH (nickel metal hydride) batteries.

• Partial discharging and recharging multiple times is better for long battery life than discharging all the way down to where the mod indicates "low battery" and then recharging.

Charging

• Don't charge a battery that is below 0°C/32°F. It causes metal to be plated inside the battery eventually leading to an internal short circuit and possibly bursting of the battery.

• Where possible, setting your charger to 4.1V will reduce stress on the battery and extend its life. But you will lose 10%-15% of the capacity of the battery.

• Make sure the charger you use turns off once the charge is complete. Check the instructions for the charger you want to use.

• Never use a trickle charger with Li-Ion batteries! The continuous holding of the battery at the trickle charge voltage damages it.

• Don't overcharge them. To get the longest running possible time from a battery some chargers go up to as high as 3.27V. While this does result in a bit more vaping time before needing to recharge, it damages the battery. Most of the batteries we use are rated at up to 3.25V but even this is quite high. It's not dangerous until we're approaching 5V but battery damage starts occurring way below this.

• Without a separate meter monitoring the battery's highest voltage before the charger stops it's hard to know what our batteries are actually being charged to. Our best option is to have our batteries spend as little time as possible fully charged and charge them just before using them. This usually isn't very convenient but it does extend battery life.

• Charging at a slower rate is better, to a point. Most of our 18650 batteries have a "standard" charge rate of 1.0A-1.5A and a "rapid" charge rate of up to 4A. Charging at 0.5A might help extend the life of your batteries a bit but if the batteries are not getting warm at 1.0A then that's a good compromise between battery life and convenience. Going down to 0.375A or 0.25A won't help much versus charging at 0.5A.

• Charge 18350's at 0.5A until you know that they aren't getting more than a bit warm.

• Charge 26650's at 1.0A until you know that they aren't getting more than a bit warm. The better 26650's can be charged at up 2.0A without adversely affecting battery life.

Miscellaneous

• Storing batteries in the refrigerator doesn't make much of a difference in battery life unless you live in an area with high temperatures year around. It's not dangerous to refrigerate them but be sure to let them come to room temperature before opening whatever airtight wrapping/container you have them in.

• If a battery wrap becomes damaged, replace it immediately. Replace the top insulator ring if it's also damaged.

• Every time you buy batteries also buy battery boxes or sleeves, wraps, and top insulator rings. You...will...need...them.

Additional Information

¹ This is the resting voltage, NOT the voltage "under load" that the battery drops to when being used. If your mod stops firing when the battery drops to 3.2V the battery can rise back to to 3.5V or even higher after resting for a while. This "resting voltage" is the important voltage, the one to be used when determining how low you are really discharging your batteries.

While stopping at 3.4V, 3.6V, or even higher might extend battery life a bit you are missing out on a lot of additional vaping time that you could use before needing to recharge. That additional vaping time can be enjoyed every day for, at most, just the cost of one extra set of batteries a year. Stopping at these higher voltages won't hurt the battery though. Just let the batteries sit for an hour before charging to see what their true resting voltage is when deciding how low you want their voltage to go in your mod.

B&M wouldn't give me my RDA back! Listen to this shit! electronic_cigarette

So, I got a 28mm Stillare RDA on a 26650 tube as part of trade. I have no interest in mechs, so I put the RDA on my IPV4s. Since I don't have the stuff to build, I went to a local B&M, they told me $4 to build a coil and wick it. Ok, cool.

So, as I hand the guy the RDA and he walks off, a customer starts chatting me up. The guy comes back 10 mins later, tells me it'll be $15 because he "had" to build a .11ohm super-tiger-fused-McGillicutty-coil or some such shit. After I said I wanted like a .5ohm build. Ok, fine, sounds fancy, here's your money....

"Hold on a second... (after he took my money) "what are you running this on?" I told him, IPV4s. He asks, "what batteries?" I said, "2 brand new LG HG2's". "Well, that's gonna be a problem, those batteries won't be safe with this build, you need to buy these VapePower 40a batteries, otherwise you'll blow your face off." "They're buy 2 for $35 right now, that's $10 off"

"On a regulated mod?" I said, sarcastically. He stated LG might know how to makes TV's and refrigerators, but not "vape batteries". Huh, whoda thunkit....

I told him I will be just fine, give me my stuff please. He said they could be held liable because they let me walk out without "good" batteries. At this point I know any attempt at logic will fall on deaf, gauged ears. "Well, I don't have any more money, sorry". (Paid with a card, lol) He said that I could come pick up my RDA when I brought money for the batteries. At this point, I fucking lost it.

After a minute of me being exceptionally rude, everyone in the store is paying attention. I calmed down, told him he's an idiot, and gave him a final chance to give me my shit back, remove the fucking coils, give my my money back. "You paid for my skill and labor, I'll refund you the 50 cents that the wire and cotton cost" he said.

Now here's the kicker--- I got pissed enough, I wrote down my name, number, and address, handed it to him, told him to give the info to the police. When he asked why, I said "That's where I'll be so you can bring me my stuff AND pick up yours", as I swiped his DNA200 Reuleaux off the counter, and left.

THE REAL KICKER- Guess what batteries he had in the DNA200 I took? That's right, not HG2'S, but the red HE2's. Un-b-fuckin-lievable.

The situation was resolved last night, and he got quite the stern talking-to from the boys in blue. Whadda dick....

Should I store e-juice in my refrigerator? electronic_cigarette

I purchase my juice from a smoke shop and its a 70/30 (VG/PG) blend. For the first few uses the liquid is usually clear or at least lighter in color. After about a couple of weeks the juice is more yellowy in color and the taste isn't as smooth. I am curious if storing the juice in my fridge would help?

Unrelated question. How often should I be changing the atomizer? Would changing it every 30 ml vaped be excessive?

An Honest Review of - Cuttwood Vapors electronic_cigarette

Ah, yes, another review done by myself. This time, however, the tables have changed. If any of you actually keep up with my most recent reviews, most have been your small scale vendors focused on the more cheap side of liquid (which doesn't make them better or worse by any means). Well, today is the day that we finally go into detail on a more 'premium' based company, Cuttwood.

Now before we go into the review, let me just start out by saying it takes a lot for me to purchase an expensive liquid based off of that fact I believe liquid is made perfect by the amount of care and love. Take for instance Five Paws. I absolutely cannot tolerate any of their flavors. They are just too musky and not my type. Anyways - Cuttwood seems to have an interesting approach in the market of vaping. Go to their official website sometime and notice the general theme - hot women vaping and showing off their brand. I literally feel like I am in a MONSTER commercial while trying to click and look at their flavor profiles - so much so that I honestly went to Giant Vapes to get a good understanding of what I am vaping. Now the pricing for Cuttwood starts around $11.99 to $12.99 per 15ml, which brings us almost to the $1/ml side. Without further ado, I give you my personal review of Cuttwood.

Bird Brains Follow your nose to this deliciously accurate, fresh-from-the-box, mixed fruit cereal eliquid.

Hmm, very interesting flavor indeed. Have you ever tried the Silly Rabbit, Tricks are for Kids cereal? Yeah, I have, and this tastes very similar to that. It has almost that cardboardy inhale take on it with a very interesting artificial flavor exhale. Don't get me wrong, it's not terrible but I have had much better like LOOPER - ANML. It pleasantly isn't too bad, just feels kind of blandish. I let this guy steep for roughly two weeks and I was expecting a very much different taste with the hype on this stuff which is maybe why I am so disappointed. The biggest thing it is lacking is any sort of milky or creamy aftertaste that most cereal vapes give you on that exhale. The one thing it does have going for it is it's smoothness. If you are a mouth to lung vapist, like myself, you will appreciate that tender smoothness as the vapor travels down your throat, and this really gives true meaning to that. Official rating - 7.5/10

Unicorn MilkUnicorn Milk comes to you fresh from Cuttwood’s grass-fed, hormone-free Unicorn farm in Los Angeles. What does Unicorn Milk taste like exactly? It’s like a blend of four different cream flavors, mixed with all natural strawberry extract. Yum!

Alright this one is good, like...really good. I don't exactly how they can compare a liquid to a hormone free cow in Los Angeles, but I don't care. The inhale is very subtle, almost like a strawberry milk like taste fresh from the refrigerator. The exhale, this is where it shines. It really does have that naturally sweetened strawberry taste as it pours out of your mouth, as if you picked a fresh strawberry from a tree and dazzled some sugar right on top of it. It's a very natural vape so my review can't bee too extensive but just know if you like strawberries (the natural tasting kind) this really is spot on. Good work here Cuttwood. 9/10

Final Thoughts: Cuttwood is hype. It's essentially Diablo 3 hype. You order it with such excitement only to be let down ever so elegantly. Am I basing my reviews off of them based on two flavors that I tried? Absolutely. Taste is so subjective in this world we live in so take everything I type as a grain of salt. Overall, I'm going to give Cuttwood a 8/10 based off a few things: First off, clean up your website. This new hype thing called vaping is taking off extremely fast and we already have regulations being passed onto us based off of how we brand and market out products. I don't want to go to your website and see a bunch of young girls showing off your liquid. Keep this PG-13 and clean so regulations don't force us back to Amendment 18. Secondly, the pricing. This is based off of my own depiction of how liquid should and can be priced. At almost $1/ML, I think it is over priced for what I am receiving. Thanks again everyone for reading my honest review. How can I identify my expired juice? electronic_cigarette

I have noticed that juice that has turned darker in color, while not tasting bad, tends to be harsher on my coils and cause me to re-wick more often. Is this because it has perhaps expired?

I have avoided buying unnaturally darker juices because of this; am I being paranoid?

My extra juice is always kept in the refrigerator and maintains great color and transparency until is use it.

If it makes a difference, I run unregulated, 0.35ohms, 22g canthol, CLT v2 rda.

My talk with a disappointed chain smoking mother of an Vaper electronic_cigarette

To preface, I work at a car dealership, so we have lots of time to chat about things while taking care of business. This is between me and a woman in her 50s, who seemed batshit crazy before our talk about Vaping. We had this talk after she stepped outside to smoke a cig, interestingly enough. CL=Crazy lady

CL: I know really should stop smoking those things, but you wouldn't believe what my son does!

(Meth? Heroin?)

He smokes electronic cigarettes! And he thinks that's ok! Do you know they have freon gas in them, like a refrigerator? Do you have any idea how toxic that is?

Not about to start debate to nowhere with crazy lady who is buying a car, so-

Me: I actually didn't know they had that, I actually thought they weren't that bad for you

CL: They're terrible! I told him if you must smoke then make it a cigarette, at least we know what's in them. If they have freon, who knows what else is there. Do you know why they're putting so many regulations on E cigarettes?

Me: For taxes?

CL: No, because all the emissions! They're actually some of the worst things for the environment. Worse than cars even! Like we need something else for global warming! So all you're doing with E Cigarettes is breathing in freon gas, which by the way, is a chemical in refrigerators (thanks for the reminder), but you're also polluting. I tried to explain to my son just how bad it is, but he won't belive me! He even said I should use them! Can you believe that! My own son!

Me: Wow, that's interesting. I'm curious, where did you hear all this?

CL: It's all over the news! They had a doctor on just the other day, he said no one should ever pick one up. And here my son is, smoking freon gas and polluting the environment.

Me: I'll have to look into it, I haven't heard any of that before. If I were you I'd do some research online though, before be too hard on him about it.

Lady is unresponsive to suggestion.

And that's how it went, but with more interesting details about depletion of the ozone and inhaling refrigerator fluid.

Tl;dr: Chain smoking customer is angry at son for Vaping, which uses refrigerator fluid to deplete the ozone.

Does eLiquid go bad? electronic_cigarette

A question we are often asked is "does eLiquid go bad?", and what can you do to reduce or prevent it.

A quick answer to both questions is YES, with some discussion due.

If you are a novice user, we may suggest making smaller orders initially until you are familiarized with your consumption and storage habits. Properly mixed eLiquid can remain usable and be vaped for 2 years quite safely. However, there are factors that can affect the shelf life of your eLiquid.

Two factors that will affect the longevity of your eLiquid are heat and light. Propylene Glycol is a virucide as well as a bactericide. While PG remains unaltered by these two micro-organisms, other components are susceptible to degradation.

STORING YOUR eLIQUID

Flavors are prone to taint and spoilage. Nicotine is no exception. Light, heat, moisture and air can all contribute to degradation in quality and taste. This can be minimized with a few very simple tips. Keep your eLiquid in a (preferably) airtight container such as Tupperware or equivalent. Then store it in a cool, dry, dark and moisture free place. Most of us would call this a cupboard or drawer.

Liquid nicotine retains best in a freezer, but unless you are buying large quantities it is unnecessary. In many things, nicotine included, the low temperatures of a home freezer environment will reduce the speed of oxidation and prevent the growth of mold or bacteria. With chemical reactions slowed to a minimum, nicotine will retain it’s freshness for an extended time. There have been concerns expressed with the potential of glass containers breaking due to expansion, but eLiquid is a general exception to this rule. The freezing point, resulting in bottle shattering expansion, for both PG and VG are considerably lower than anything offered in a home freezer. Therefore, we can conclude that the freezer is the optimal storage consideration.

Concentrated food flavors can be a dicey proposition. DETECTING BAD eLIQUID

A TLDR review of Centerfold's Bombshell. electronic_cigarette

Hype. I work in a business were a lot of products are hyped up beyond belief. In a way, a large part of my job is seeing through hype in order to find what is really the best product available., regardless of reputation. It's really rare when something lives up to the snowball effect of glowing reviews.

Centerfold Vape Co gets a lot of hype on this sub...and it's for a reason. I won't review Blondie or Sammie as it's been done to death. They are insane good. Just plain damned tasty. Try them yourself. If you don't like them, a dog will bite you.

I'd like to review a juice from that doesn't get much hype:

Centerfold Bombshell:

My setup: .5 ohm 26 gauge dual coils wicked with japanese cotton in a Mutation x V3. Sig 150 vaping @ 60w

Presentation: Attractive label, flavor name, nic level, ingredients and typical safety warnings. No Born on or expiration date. The juice itself is pretty orange/yellow

PG/VG: 27/73. I wonder why they choose such a random ratio? Right up my alley VG wise, though.

Manufacturer Description: "Bananas and cream with a twinge of coconut, and laced with citrusy fruits. Our fruitiest vape. You banana nuts will love this."

Tasting notes: This juice really got me going. I'm a big custard/cream/cereal guy...so I was a tad worried this would be too fruity for me. I gotta say, on the first inhale, thought I had sucked up a bunch of juice into my mouth. I hadn't...Bombshell is just super powerful in flavor! All sorts of fruity madness going on here. Fresh fruit I must add, not candy or artificial fruit. As I describe these fruit notes, imagine you are standing in a parking lot when it's 110 degrees out and you just pulled these fruits out of an ice cold refrigerator. That is how fresh and luscious these fruits are.

Banana. Lots of Banana. It rides on the back of the most subdued creaminess...barely there. Right after that, I get a big bite of juicy pineapple. My wife is from Hawaii. She took me to Dole plantation and I ate a pineapple fresh from the ground. That is what I taste in this juice. I also get a little blood orange, some kiwi, and maybe a tart berry that I can't pin down. So nuanced and orchestral! Yum

Right here I want to add that most juices with this much pineapple or citrus tend to cloy my palate badly or make my tongue sore. They are also usually really perfume like. This juice has neither of the pre-mentioned issues and tastes unbelievably natural.

I've vaped 13 of my 15 mls in one day. I can't believe how hard I've crushed this bottle of juice.

Vapor production: Good stuff. This juice rips. Boobs were chunked.

Overall: See above. Wowzas. A perfect tropical fruit juice.

Cons: I gotta get a con in so I don't come off like a shill. It's hard, but I've got one. This one seems to have some pretty artificial color to it. When you swirl the bottle, the juice leave a trail of color on the plastic that lasts for awhile. Maybe I'm wrong and it's from the flavoring (which is soooo jam packed), but if I'm right, maybe it could be toned down a bit. I'm just not a fan of colorings.

Hope you liked it. I'm enjoying writing these reviews as a break from my crazy work life. Let me know if I can do anything better/different/etc.

Multi-Custard Review electronic_cigarette

I have tried many custards these past few months and I thought I would give my opinion on some of the ones I have tried.

My preparation and setup. I steeped all non-pre-steeped juice for at least 1 month before trying it. I did this by putting my juice in a cardboard box, and then putting it in the refrigerator to keep it both cool, and out of the light. I am using the Siegeli 150 Watt Oni Edition with the Turbo RDA, and vaping 20 PG / 80 VG (or 65 PG / 35 VG) juice at 30-50 watts depending on the day. I alternated between Organic Cotton Balls and Muji Japanese Cotton.

This is by far the best Vanilla Custard I have tried to date. It is steeped for 3 months minimum I believe before you even receive it. Great flavor that made me never want to stop vaping it. Unfortunately the great taste and flavor comes at a great price as well. Although I thoroughly enjoyed it, It is a little to expensive for my vaping habits.

This juice in my opinion is simply "ok". It is not the best I have tried, but I have also tried worse. The vanilla taste was very faint, to the point where I wasn't sure If it had any flavor at all at some points of my use. I've watched the juice age from clear all the way to a nice dark color, but the entire time the flavor did not drastically improve. Maybe longer steeping time is required, but I am not one who believes you should put in extra work to "make" something enjoyable when it should be enjoyable from the start. The juice was ok, but I would not personally order it again in the future.

3) Gremlin Juice - Vanilla Custard

This is probably my second favorite Vanilla Custard flavored juice I have tried thus far. I have received many Vanilla Custards that when opened did not even have a Vanilla smell to it, but this one you can definitely tell the Vanilla Flavor is there. It's not to strong, it's not to faint, it is just right. When I don't feel like dropping a lot of money for a small amount of juice (small to me) from Nikoticket this is my backup source.

4) Gremlin Juice - Pixie Dust

I actually received this juice as a sample when I bought the Vanilla Custard from Gremlin Juice. Usually when you receive samples they are random and it does not appear the retailer you are buying from tries to pick a juice you might actually like. Gremlin Juice was different and they noticed I bought a large amount of Vanilla Custard so they sent me 2 other Custard flavors they also had as samples. The other one I did not enjoy to much, but this one is amazing. The best way to describe it would be as if you bought a plain strawberry smoothie, took a nice sip, and then after its gone you have a nice hint of strawberry flavor still in your mouth that is impossible not to notice. This juice is great and when I decide to try something other than Vanilla Custards this is something I will definitely be getting.

I have tried many others besides these but I thought these were the only ones worth mentioning. The rest I tried didn't even have a Vanilla taste or smell, just a complete waste of money.

Milkman needs steeping. electronic_cigarette

After buying into the hype, I decided to pick up some Milkman e liquid. Right out of the bottle, it tasted..interesting, yet weird and there was distasteful and foreign that was so "in your face". I asked my local B&M and they told me that since it's 99% VG, steeping won't help, and if anything to try a refrigerator for a few hours.

However, I looked around at other people's steeping methods and did a warm (sealed in bag), bath, changing the water and agitating every 30 minutes for 3 hours. What a difference this made! The weirdness of the flavor is nearly gone and is much more rich in a custard/cream sort of way. Going to try steeping it for a few more hours to see if anything changes, will report back.

Vaping Pro Tip - When rebuilding your atomizers, keep a cheap refrigerator magnet nearby to help keep track of your kanthal clippings. electronic_cigarette

We've all done it - you just got done building a sick coil, you've trimmed your leads with your wife's favorite nail clippers, all is well. Then you go to clean up and a tiny piece of kanthal makes its way to the carpet. If you had put your trimmings on that shitty magnet you keep on the fridge for no reason (it's not holding up kids' artwork, it's not keeping your grocery list in place, hell, it's probably not even strong enough, it's probably one of those shitty magnets they glue to ads for pizza and personal injury lawyers in the yellow pages), anyways, if you'd been using that to keep control of your trimmings, you wouldn't have to worry about your wife screaming at you three days from now because she has a piece of wire in her foot and she "told you to keep track of your damn wire clippings!" Now you have to build coils on the porch. Good work.

In all seriousness, I have a five month old daughter who is learning to crawl, and I'd feel like a huge, irresponsible piece of shit if she ended up with a piece of kanthal in her hand or leg. I'm very cautious about keeping control of those tiny little pieces of wire. I've sent a couple shooting across the room while trimming, and I've dropped some in the past, but no more.

Whenever you're ready to trim, just place your mod or atomizer or ohm meter, whatever you're building on, over an old fridge magnet, the bigger the better. Hold your hand over the atomizer while trimming so it doesn't fly across the room, and most of the time it will just drop onto the magnet. If not, immediately locate it and put it on the magnet. If you still manage to drop it on the floor, no worries, now you have a magnet to help you find it, no matter how small. The magnet will hold onto them for you so you can go about wicking and trying out your awesome new build without worrying about getting a piece of kanthal stuck in yours or someone else's foot/ass/leg/whatever later, and you can just brush them off of the magnet into the trash when you're all done!
