"The Republicans' denial of the effects of the Climate Change is going to destroy this earth soon ." POLITIC

Because just by denying the fact that there is a huge hole in the Ozone layer, is good enough reason to hasten our exit from this earth.

I know our earth was not so polluted before .

But since we know a whole lot now about what the hole in the ozone layer can do to our lives , what are we doing ?

Nothing .

And why the Republicans are not taking up this issue seriously, beats me ?

But not our scientists .

They knew it before and they're telling us now on a regular basis about what this vanishing Ozone layer can do to our body and to the earth .

But for the Republicans, just the fact that the science behind the climate change is mainly promoted by the Democrats, they're prone to think of the whole exercise as very suspicious .

But for the Democrats it's not very hard to presume the reason behind this reluctance on the part of the Republicans in the Congress as well as in the Senate .

It's the humongous amount of money and the power tied to the Petroleum industry.

Republican stalwarts among others have, had huge incentives to keep on promoting the practice of the gasoline burning and thus generating a huge income for each individual members in the Capitol and as well to the Party as a whole .

They're so blind, to the fact that we might die someday if we don't fix this problem right now, that they do not even want to acknowledge that there is a huge Ozone hole , almost the size of 1000 + football fields on top of the Andes mountains in Chile and elsewhere .

The reason, the village people working on the top of these mountains in Chile wear long clothes to hide every part of their bare skin, including their head, is a testament to the fact that our Ozone layer is diminishing .

I'll urge all the Republicans to take a hike on those mountains and see first hand the effect of what a hole in the Ozone layer can do to their health.

If they don't suffer from terrible skin cancers or other communicable diseases by not covering every inch of their bare skin ,we can call our Climate scientists liars .

These scientists are crying out very loud and clear about the dangerous effect of burning of the fossil fuels as well as the effects of running Refrigerators on our levels of Ozone layer .

And with this monumental evidence of our earth being disintegrated on a daily basis , I really don't understand the reason for this denial on the part of the entire coterie of the Republicans and also on the part of some Democrats ?...tkb

"An appeal to President Obama regarding the proposed deportations of the innocent refugees, including mothers children from South America." POLITIC

Mr. President.

Please don't treat these mothers and children any differently than all the refugees that we welcomed throughout the history.

This country always shown mercy to the world's fallen.

Currently, these mothers and children from Guatemala,Honduras and El Salvador are the world's fallen.

And you really should not behave anything like Donald Trump .

But just the opposite.

You must open the border to these kind of refugees (by the way they're real refugees) who're fleeing the brutal regimes that we supported .

And handing over these refugees back to the countries where they came from is like acting like the policeman in Milwaukee who returned the drugged Vietnamese boy back to Jeffrey Dahmer only to be dismembered and kept in the refrigerator by this monster to be eaten later as a meal .

In that context," What do you think these killers in those Central American countries where these most vulnerable people of the earth at this moment came from ?"

Of course they'll kill all the children and rape their mothers.

As a parent, "Will you or anybody like to see the same outcome happening to their children ?"

I won't.

So instead of sending these children and women back to these modern day devils , you should rather send some special agents to take out those devils from those countries.

Then and only then, you can persuade these God's children and their mothers, to either go back or stay if they choose to.

Moreover everybody loves you because you're different than Trump and all the Republicans.

Please don't go through this horrible Republican policy of deportation of innocent human beings.

Let Trump be proud of this horrible act. It fits him well.

Not you.

PRESIDENT PUTIN POLITICS POLITIC

Hi everybody, I am a science fiction writer, not a political person, normally I only deal with futuristic politics and don' t interfere with current politics, but for once I am going to make an exception and write a political post. I live in the Netherlands and it is becoming a bit scary down here. President Putin has moved tanks and troops into Eastern Ukraine, Russian airplanes are making faint attack flights in European air space, and Gorbatsjov said there might be a second cold war. As time goes by world war three is becoming more a likely possibility than something we shouldn't worry about. Let me explain. Europe and the United States have imposed economical sanctions on Russia and these economical sanctions are working. Don't people realize how dangerous this is? An economically unstable Russia is a danger to world peace. After world war one, economical sanctions were imposed on Germany by the victors of world war one. The economical consequences were disastrous for Germany, which led to chaos and eventually an evil man coming to power. This evil man called Hitler, then ignited world war two. It may sound far fetched but the same thing can happen to Russia. Economical sanctions can lead to destabilization and even the collapse of the Russian economy. This can lead to chaos within Russia and even the violent overthrowing of president Putin. It is very possible that then an evil madman will come to power who will ignite world war three. I am not a fan of president Putin, he is a corrupt dictator, but the world might be worse of without him. All it takes for world war three to happen is one madman at the helm of a world power, making the decision to go to war. For the high rising tensions to deescalate all the world powers involved, Russia, Ukraine, Europe and the United States need to make consessions. When president Putin signed the Minsk peace treaty with president Petro Poroshenko there was a real opportunity for peace, soon after this signing president Putin moved most of his troops out of Eastern Ukraine, but the western world has decided that dispite the peace treaty the economical sanctions against Russia should stay in place. This is where the western world has dropped the bal. Russia's behavior in the Ukraine and the economical sanctions against Russia are not seperate issues, these are linked with each other. The western world should have said " Okay mister Putin, you have signed a peace treaty and moved most of your troops out of Eastern Ukraine, so now we will lift some of the economical sanctions as long as you remain in compliance with the minsk peace treaty." This would have generated good will with the Russians, removed a lot of pressure from president Putin and given the peace treaty more power, but this didn't happen. The sanctions remained in place, leaving president Putin cornered and seperated. He must have been thinking to himself: " shit, I did almost everything the western world asked of me, I have signed a peace deal with Poroshenko, moved most of my troops out of Eastern Ukraine, deescalated the situation, and now I'm still up shitcreek." So president Putin took that Minsk treaty, placed it next to a bottle of vodka in his refrigerator, and send his troops back into Eastern Ukraine. This time with a vengeance, more than before. Two things need to happen and need to happen soon.

First, president Obama and president Putin need to sit down with each other and sign an agreement in which president Putin will permanently remove most of his soldiers and tanks from Eastern Ukraine in return for the lifting of a large part of the economocal sanctions that have been imposed on Russia. A seperate cease fire agreement at the Donetsk airport should be included in those negotiations. Some western powers might think that this is giving in to intimidation, but isn't a deescalation of the situation, the Russian tanks out of Eastern Ukraine, and a Russia with a stable economy, isn't that what we all want? Isn't Russia an important part of the world economy? Trust me on this one, Russia is an important part of the world economy whether we like it or not.

Second, Ukraine needs to dig in and fortify its front lines so that they can effectively defend the lands that they now hold. Europe and the United States need to help them with this. This is called peace through strength. If a country is very capable of defending itself it is less likely to be attacked in the first place. And if it does get attacked, well, then it can defend itself. For instance, if a collom of twenty tanks are moving forward and the first two tanks are destroyed, this will halt the advance of the remaining tanks and might even cause them to retreat, because the other tank crews don't want to suffer the same fate as those from the destroyed tanks. Ukraine is an important buffer between Russia and Europe, especially since Europe's financial problems caused it to cut down on its defenses. Jong upcoming democratic movements can form an important protective buffer for older democracies, but this is only the case if these jong movements recieve weapons from the older democracies, because without effective aid from the older democracies these jong movements will be violently crushed by a corrupt dictator or a terrorist organization.

West Ukraine has lost a lot: the regrettable los of life, the los of the Crim and the los of large parts of Eastern Ukraine, but they have also gained a lot. The overthrowing of Victor Yanocovich who was a corrupt dictator, they have gained freedom, democracy, a new found pride in their country, and a trade relationship with Europe.

And as far as Eastern Ukrainians is concerned, many of them are Russian speaking farmers who own a small piece of land. They often make their own food and vodka. They are okay with Russia, they are okay with Kiev, they don't really care who rules over them, as long as nobody bombs their farm.
