ELI5: Will a refrigerator magnet eventually loose its pull over enough time since it is perpetually fighting gravity? explainlikeimfive

It requires energy to fight gravity, so wouldn't it just be a matter of time before a magnet looses its pull if it is in a constant state of using energy simply against gravity? How long would it take? If it never looses its pull, how is that possible since perpetual energy can't exist?
