So here is an odd one. I have a fairly new Whirlpool refrigerator. Not even a year old. Works great. I live alone and don't even have a lot of food or drinks in there and keep everything pretty spotless. A month ago I noticed this red sticky liquid had formed in a pool on one of the levels of the refrigerator side and just assumed I must have spilled a drink at some point and not noticed it. It was kinda gooey and red like molasses. Cleaned everything and it was spotless. What I did notice while doing this was a lot of the removable glass panels and crisper compartments had this clear, lubricant on them which I assumed was so they would slide in and out with ease.
Fast forward a month and the same exact red gooey liquid is back and formed the same pool. It's 100% not any food or drink in my fridge and I can see it coming out of where there are small screw holes in the glass panes. My fridge looks like it's literally bleeding. Any idea what the hell is going on here? Besides that everything is functioning perfectly. Here are some pics where you can see it dropping out of one of the holes and where it has left a large pool. Also around the glass it appears dark like it is forming in there.
