We have a new Whirlpool fridge that is only 8 months old. The freezer works fine but there are periods of time where the fridge will not get below 40 degrees. I put the cold setting on the fridge side to 4 out of 5. I have the freezer set to 3 out of 5. The freezer works fine. There are weeks at a time where our fridge will work fine but then either the fan stops running- I stop hearing the fan but can feel air flowing out of the air flow in fridge. We had a technician come out two months ago. He did not look for much and only put his hand but the air flow in fridge and said it was fine. That tech worked for Whirlpool. I emptied out some of the food in the freezer hoping to help the load balance but it did not do much. Should we defrost the fridge? I am at a loss :(
