Description of problem

I received this refrigerator from my neighbors who were moving out, so not really sure how long it has been in use for.
Every half an hour or so it starts making this aforementioned noise. It sounds like a liquid, accompanied by humming so I assume it's the compressor and the refrigerant that's at fault.

Any ideas of how I could fix this?
