My current one is a 1991 Kenmore. It was originally rated at 1208 kWh for a year. I found a site that gives an adjusted rating of 1449 due to aging. The Kenmore 79043 I'm looking at would thus take 12 years to pay for itself, but can I expect it to last that long without any issues?
