Around 3 weeks ago I fell and landed awkwardly (and hard) against the corner of the refrigerator. The area between and including my thumb and forefinger of my right hand took the brunt of the impact.
Ever since this accident I have felt no sensation to the area upon applying pressure, occasionally it will tingle as though I have 'pins and needles' but nothing else. I've tried applying pain to the area with various items but no matter how hard I press, I cannot feel anything.
Ordinarilly I wouldn't be too worried, however, it is beginning to affect my grip and a general feeling that I'm not actually holding anything with my right hand when I actually am.
Any help/advice is most appreciated.
