This was sent in a department email notifying us of a current trend:
We have identified that one or more of the devices (Computers, fridges, toasters, etc) behind some customers' modems may be infected with Mirai.
While some documentation on Mirai does mention that smart devices such as refrigerators and thermostats could be infected, there was still a correction to the email sent not long after removing toaster from the list and replacing it with security cameras.
TL:DR Marai, Marai on the wall, how do I make the toastiest toast of all?
