As normal day would go in my world I wake up at 4pm. I currently work graveyard shifts as a security guard. Being only 22 and going to college as well I live with my parents. My father came home and I pulled out some sliced Publix Ham from the refrigerator to have a quick snack. A fight ensued with my father saying "You don't appreciate food, you should be eating what we need to get rid of" this was very odd to me and I fought back by saying "you buy food no one eats, and leave it in the pantry for months" big mistake...
At this point he (My father) is in my face and we argue back and forth until I make mistake number 2. I put my hands on his triceps to move him away from me. Fuck up committed.
He grabs a knife and threatens me with it. It happened pretty fast and I made mistake number 3. I cornered myself. Super big fuck up. (And I dropped my hands, big no no if you are going to be attacked)
After 2 minutes of him yelling at me with him wielding this knife pretty violently. I managed to calm him down and slip right to get to the door.
I literally almost became the next Florida Headline "brother stabs brother over sandwich" which happened a couple months ago...
What a day...
