i bought a new Samsung appliance bundle this past Memorial Day and I'm having some issues. The primary one is the ice dispenser. When I select Cubed mode it takes a good 5 seconds for ice to start coming out and then it's one Cube at a time at a rather slow rate. When Crushed is selected it takes easily 10 seconds for ice to start falling into my cup. Is this normal?
Now, my last fridge had the ice bucket on the door so when it was triggered ice would free fall into your cup. The crusher was also right in the door so that only added maybe a 1-2 second delay.
Was I spoiled with my old shitty Whirlpool fridge's ice maker or is something wrong with this Samsung auger system?
