The landlord is claiming that she has no responsibility to upkeep anything in the townhouse. She is saying that I signed an "as-is" lease which apparently means all repairs and upkeep are my responsibility. Is that legal? I've estimated about $2,000 worth of repairs to make the place liveable...do I have any legal recourse here?
For reference, I just moved to Colorado from California 2 days ago and leased this place after a 3 minute walk through because, frankly, my wife and I had no place to live. The landlord is now ignoring my calls and emails about broken appliances and various other issues with this place...so any help is much appreciated.
