So I'm a male, 13 years. I was raised with discipline mostly from my father, he was hard on me a lot. My little sister, 3 years, receives no discipline unless it's from my dad. She left me to watch her for a few hours and I did for the most part. I fell asleep and she didn't and got into my step mom's stuff and the refrigerator and played with a bowl of eggs and made a mess. I scolded her put her in the living room to be quiet and so she wouldn't have anything to do as a punishment. My step mom gets home after I've cleaned everything up and my sister is still being punished and she tells me that I shouldn't have done anything and let it slide and I told her that she needs discipline from someone around the house and she gave me the mom glare and retaliated saying that she gives enough punishment as it is, but me and my dad both know that that's not the case
