Unplug everything except the refrigerator & stove.
On hot days, use a crock pot, George Forman Grill or a microwave instead of the stove to save money.
If it's not being used, unplug it. Energy is still being pulled even if it is off. Also, you are being charged for it, too.
That PlayStation, Wii & Xbox?
Unplug it.
TVs, clocks & sound systems?
Unplug it.
Coffee makers, microwaves & toasters?
Unplug it.
Washers & dryers?
Unplug them.
The only things that should be plugged in the entire house are the refrigerators, stoves & things that are being immediately used.
Just like you turn the lights off when leaving a room, unplug everything.
Sounds silly but try it.
If you save money, then let me know.
Wash laundry in cold water only. Pour detergent in the machine before adding your clothes. This definitely saves money.
