Hey /r/advice,
My wife and I have recently made two large purchases (large for us anyway as we are young first-home buyers) for an electric range/oven, and a refrigerator.
We have found that the range and the fridge both have dents on the appliances. The dents on the range are pretty bad however they're in the back and hidden by our counter, while the dent on the fridge is directly on the front door (it was hidden by the plastic wrapping).
We've had both appliances for about a week now and honestly we don't mind keeping the items if we could get some kind of discount. My question is, is it too late to call up the store (Third party appliance store located in Best Buy) and ask for some kind of discount? What would be the best approach at doing this? I was thinking of calling them, but perhaps it would be better to go in person? Thanks all!
