I live in Central India and for context, it’s the middle of summer here,
And these are rather two fuck ups, second one being the consequence of the first. We have a water pump which pulls ground water above ground and stores it in a tank. Last night, as always I was up till the 2 AM and everyone in my home had slept, I went to shit and smoked a cigarette while I was in, (which I always do, the exhaust in the bathroom ensures, the smoke is sucked out through the hole in the wall) after this, I came out and realized there was no water in the tank, so had to switch on the water pump. As soon as I switched on the pump, one of the main fuse blew, supposedly due to overload on one fuse, this cause every air conditioner in my home to shut down, along with the refrigerator, internet router and some other appliances Since it was the middle of the night, and repairmen will come only in the morning, I tried to fix my fuck up myself but all in vain, everyone in my home had woken up until now and the bathroom of the ground floor was filled with cigarette smoke smell. (The second fuck up) It was a disaster of a night and I had never been this embarrassed in front of my family.
