Tampa,Fl Apartment Community threatens tenants with lease termination. legaladvice

Hello, I've been having major issues with my apartment Community. From the very beginning, we have had nothing but issues. The leasing agents are rude, unapologetic, and unhelpful. The apartment we signed for a month in advance was not ready the day before our move in date, so they set us up in the show unit. As a result, we had to pay extra fees to the electric company to have electricity turned on. The complex won't reimburse this cost.

Beyond that, the unit is full of bugs, there were holes in the walls, the wood under the sink had severe water damage, the window insulation was so poor that lizards and roaches were coming in through the window, and there wasn't even a lightbulb in the refrigerator. A full week later, we still don't have a mailbox key.

Five days after move in, we noticed the carpet in front of the air conditioning unit was soaked. Inside the air conditioning unit, there was mold, rusting, and copper oxidation. The water was seeping down through the inside of the wall. After pulling back the rubber baseboard -- the only baseboard in the living/dining room -- the bottom of the wall is completely disintegrated from water damage. The maintenance people know about this problem, but they lazily make small fixes without solving the problem.

Today, my water was shut off in the middle of the day without warning. After calling the leasing office, an agent was rude and unapologetic, talked over me, and told me to "deal with it until maintenance gets around to it."

Feeling frustrated, I posted about my experience on Facebook and left a Facebook review for the complex. Afterward, the other person on my lease was called by the leasing office with a threat to either take down the posts or we would be evicted within 7-10 days.

Are we in violation of the lease in anyway? And do they have grounds to evict us?
