Perfect Boiled Egg Method ketorecipes

I'm a pretty decent cook, but I've never found a consistent way to make boiled eggs until I found this method. I've now made them this way almost a dozen times since beginning Keto and every single egg has easily slipped out of the shell- not one nick of white removed. The 14 mins seems a bit long, but I've had no overcooked eggs. Thought I'd share in case anyone out there hasn't found a consistent method. I have upped the egg count while keeping everything else the same and there's been no effect on peelability.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon salt

1/4 cup distilled white vinegar

6 cups water

8 eggs

Directions

Bring Eggs to room temp to avoid cracking when added to boiling water.

Combine the salt, vinegar, and water in a large pot, and bring to a boil over high heat. Add the eggs one at a time, being careful not to crack them. Reduce the heat to a gentle boil, and cook for 14 minutes.

Once the eggs have cooked, remove them from the hot water, and place into a container of ice water or cold, running water. Cool completely, about 15 minutes. Store in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
