The wife and I, are in the process of purchasing a Salem 30qbss. The travel trailer will be used during the weekend, and left unoccupied on battery/solar for the weekdays.
Our friends use a small no-name brand 75 watt solar panel to keep their batteries topped-off for the week. I was considering a 100 watt panel, or a 200watt panel kit. Which led to the question, is there such a thing as too much power?
Would using a 200watt (2x 100watt panels) solar kit be too much to keep the battery charged? The only thing that should be running is the propane refrigerator and LP detector. I'd rather have the extra, but don't want to go overboard.
