I love to bake cakes and cupcakes but keep coming up with the problem of the buttercream melting from the heat in my hand when piping. The buttercream recipe I generally use holds together very well for normal piping, but it becomes a major problem when I'm piping buttercream roses, as this is more time intensive. I try to not fill my piping bags very full and place my buttercream in the refrigerator prior, but it's still not enough. Currently I'm using the disposable wilton bags, which is most likely part of my problem. Do you have any techniques or products you would suggest to help with this problem?
