We bought a new refrigerator recently and have been trying to hook up the water line. We were able to get everything hooked up, but when we turn the water on there is a leak from the copper line. The leak is coming from where the ferrule meets the copper line. Any ideas on how to fix this?
We read that you should try sanding the pipe if it has some rough edges. We tried that and it still leaked. Do we need to cut the pipe and get a new ferrule for it? Not really sure what to do here. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.
