Should I continue grinding higher or ascend soon? Also should I bank souls or upgrade Dogcog? ClickerHeroes

Been beating a boss every 55 minutes with 8797321 and an autoclicker. Then immediately use 45 to gain spam gold on the creatures immediately after.

I mean 325-350 on Aphrodite was +400S [out of 35,539S total]. It's not like earlier when waiting to upgrade the 'good' hero took a few extra minutes...another couple hours feels more...painful.]
