(New Jersey) - Workers Comp doctors suck, how should I go about seeing other doctors? legaladvice

Alright, so a little back story. I am a 21 year old "Culinary Expert". Basically I work the line and write specials for all restaurants at a large casino in Atlantic City. Now on a Friday night in October I was working on the line and I went to grab something out of the refrigerator on the line. When I opened up the door I had grabbed it with my right hand, I had my sell phone in my left, and I started getting violently shocked. This felt like it was an eternity and hurt extremely bad. Everyone in the kitchen saw it happen but didn't understand what was going on. After what I was told was about 30 seconds I dropped to my knees and sort of came too. After I got up I realized I had numbness in my whole body. So I asked for security and tried to go back to work. after about 15mins I got excruciating pain in my chest, I kept asking for security and they never came. The electricians came at about 20 minutes after the incident and put a voltage meter on the door and I saw it read 144 volts. At 30 mins I made the Chef of the Res truant bring me to security where the made me fill out paper work and then proceeded to tell]l me if I wanted an ambulance it would cost me 800$ and I should take a taxi. So I said fuck it and the Taxi picked me up instantly and brought me to the hospital.I was quickly taken into the E.R. and given an EKG and was fine but I had a small head ache and terrible chest pain still and numbness in my fingers of my left hand everything else came back. I was discharged the next day. I woke up the next morning and half of my left forearm all the way to my hand was completely numb. The chest pain wasn't gone and I kept getting bad headaches. After about a week I finally got to see the workers comp doctor. He gave me some pain killers and refereed me to two specialists. A neurologist and an orthopedic doctor. Now the Ortho new right away what was wrong with my chest. He gave me Ibuprofen and sent me to therapy. It was t~Strain. I have been going for about 2 months now and almost have full motion and have start being able to lift small weights about 5lbs. however the constant pain in my chest has not resided and he said it might not ever go away. Whatever no biggie its like a 4 out of 10 on the pain scale, enough to notice, its annoying but bearable. Now, this is where my problem is. My neurologist isn't really helping me with my headaches. My arm as recovered about 4 inches of feeling out of about 16ins with occupational therapy in 2 months which is great! My Headaches however have not gotten better. They are making me suicidal. I can't sleep at night. It feels like my head is going to explode. My Lawyer says that she is respected around here but I want to go to Penn Hospital for a Second opinion. I am literally passing out from pain and she put me back on sedentary duty. And I am fairly sure I am going to have to live with these regardless of the medications. Also another question is I was put back on duty before my workers comp cycle ended in early Dec. then then taken out of work by my primary care taker for 2 weeks then put back in work by my neurologist. So all of Dec I did not get 1 penny. What will happen with that. I am back on light duty as of this past Saturday and wont receive my first check until next Thursday. I am in serious Financial trouble. What do you guys think? Do I have a strong case? Never needed a lawyer before or even thought about suing. My biggest thing is that I reported problems to the chef about this particular refrigerator multiple times and nothing was ever done. What kind of settlement should I be looking at? Any thoughts on outside workers comp Doctors?
