To start let me state that I work in an organization that is very well known in our service area. I've been looking for new opportunities because there is VERY limited growth within our organization and I feel very under appreciated (I am the only staff member with a Masters Degree...also the only employee in a cubicle making the lowest salary). After browsing for jobs I found something that I am qualified for, that excites me and pays more. The only issue is, the employees at this new and exciting job also know my organization and my CEO very well. I'm afraid that interviewing for this job could jeopardize my future with my current employer.
Tldr: Will job interviewer rat me out to my current boss causing me to lose my job and live in refrigerator box with cat litter?
