I have a 4.25lb tank strapped down in a cabinet under my sink. From there is a regulator and hose running to a two burner stove next to the sink. The cabinet is vented to the interior as well as the exterior via a hole in the floor. I'm aware that propane is heavier than air so theoretically it should flow out the hole in the floor if there was a leak, right? I also have a handheld propane detector that I believe I can leave powered on. I also have plenty of windows I can open while cooking so I overlooked the CO detector.
EDIT: Should I be concerned with automatic venting of my tank?
EDIT2: I also have a 12v refrigerator under the two burner stove. Does this add any combustion hazard if there was a leak or if venting occurs ?
