Today Norman was sad. He wasn't sad about the things that normally bothered him, like the cold chills emanating from his long since broken heater, or the buzzing noise that seemed to always be coming from the back of the refrigerator. No, today Norman was sad for a reason that he could not explain. Maybe it was because she had never waved back. Could be it was because he hadn't got a chance to say what he was thinking. No, that couldn't be it. "Perhaps I'll feel better tomorrow" thought Norman. But he knew he wouldn't, and that made him sad.
