Aliyah Moves to the Attic (part 2.1) badroommates

Aliyah arrived at the house today! For the first time since she left during finals week, over a month ago. She walked in, and appeared to have been crying, and didn't say a single word to me. She said hello to Jack, hello to Owen and even greeted the dog (who belongs to me). Her parents were just as icy towards me. I have a feeling I am the "pot smoking, promiscuous, overly clean & organized, bitchy roommate" in their eyes. I can only imagine the things Aliyah has been telling them.

I immediately jumped up and started helping clear the hallways where things would be moved to so they could start packing up and moving her things. My help was not acknowledged in any way. In fact her mom stood and watched me move things out of the way and when I was done she just walked right by like I wasn't there.

Owen asked if we could get breakfast and run some errands, and as soon as we left the house he said he had never felt so awkward before. We decided to visit Jack at work while we were out and about. Jack left the house after we did and he said the move seemed to be going smoothly but he was happy to escape the awkward and tense situation.

I usually park my car in the driveway and throughout the year that has been fairly consistent. It just sort of worked out that way and no one has ever really complained. Owen and I had some stuff to move into the house when we got home and I noticed that Aliyah had moved her car into the driveway. I politely asked her to move it, I got no response but she grabbed her keys and moved her car in between sobs (she was crying all day). I got my driveway spot back, and carefully parked so no one could park me in, I usually pull forward enough so another car can park behind me.

After Owen and I got home, Aliyah and her parents left to have lunch and go to target for things her new room "NEEDED". They also returned with tons of groceries for her. I was pretty impressed at the haul, mostly because....where does she think she is going to put it? We have 5 people sharing food space designed for 3 people...

To be continued: Aliyah cries over fridge space, and gets mad at BurtonBabe for throwing away her molding left overs and cleaning the refrigerator, and much much more!!!

TL:DR; Aliyah and her parents are ice cold to BurtonBabe and the day isn't even over (2 parter)

EDIT: i just texted Owen from my computer as I was writing this and asked him to help me "escape from the basement" and a few other little things about how annoyed I am today. Then I realized I didn't click Owen's contact, I clicked Aliyah's. I texted Aliyah, instead of Owen. There will be an update about how this plays out and it won't be pretty.
