Hey guys, I've inherited a fridge that was missing an evaporator door for the inside freezer compartment. I now have a spare door that I want to attach but I'm having trouble working out how. There are two studs fixed inside the fridge, and the door itself has two ports for the studs to slot in to, but as these are fixed in place I'm unable to wrangle the door in to position as there's no wiggle room to do so, and attempting to force it would break the studs before fitting it.
I've also tried to work at the studs, but they don't budge.
Any obvious solutions to this? Is it likely I have to try to remove the entire freezer compartment? The fridge is an LEC Elan, although I don't see any specific model numbers on the appliance.
Any help much appreciated!
