I'm wondering if anyone else has had to do this, I have purchased a wine refrigerator to maintain my sticks at temperature, but this extracts all the humidity even with 3 lb of saturated kitty litter. Because of where I live storing cigars in an environment that is not temperature controlled is not an option at all, as I would lose my precious friends. (I found my black leather wallet on the floor the other day, it was camoflauged as it was covered in white mold; lost almost all suits to the same factor) So for the moment I've stored them without hope that they be in smoking condition without first seasoning them for a week in a herfador.
Any thoughts, suggestions?
