Hi everyone! So I'm flying to Boston on Saturday (woo!), and I plan on only bringing carry-on items with me so I don't have to check any bags. I keep my facial oil mixture in a 1-oz amber bottle, so the size won't get TSA's panties in a bunch. However, the mixture contains hemp seed oil and sunflower oil, both of which should be kept refrigerated. There's a refrigerator at the place at which I'll be staying, but on the flights both to and from Boston, the oils will be "exposed." So, with that said:
- Would traveling with this mixture un-refrigerated for two separate 4-hour flights be okay?
- Would adding any specific essential oils help to prevent this mixture from spoiling during that time?
- ...Is this even something to be concerned about?
Thanks in advance for the help! :D
TL;DR - Can I travel for several hours with oils that tend to go rancid when un-refrigerated?
