I'm so glad I found this sub so I can tell a story that people seem to get a kick out of for some reason.
For those who don't know, The Sunday Night Sex Show was a Canadian call in program about sex, hosted by Sue Johanson. It was a great program that gave people with sex questions a safe, anonymous environment to ask them.
Back in 2002-2003ish, when I was a university student, my roommate dared me to call in. I lied and said a friend who told me that raw chicken breast feels like a vagina, and asked if I would get salmonella poisoning if I used it when masturbating. She said I was safe, but don't put it back in the refrigerator afterwards.
I taped it and we all had a good laugh about it. By the way, if anyone out there can track down the clip, please post the link. I spent some time on YouTube trying to track it down before posting this and had no luck.
A few months later, she was on the cover of Macleans, and the accompanying article has a line that reads something along the lines of, "Sue treats all of her callers with respect. Whether it's a (insert common sexual question here), or a man who wants to masturbate with raw chicken, but is afraid of salmonella."
Not only was my question TV worthy, it made Macleans! I don't feel proud... I don't feel ashamed... I just think it's kinda neat.
I feel slightly guilty about taking away time from people with actual questions, but maybe there was someone who wanted to ask, but didn't have the courage. Or maybe one of you are going to go to your fridge and defrost a chicken breast right now.
